Applications to serve as a moderator for the 2026 North American SAF Conference & Expo will be accepted through April 10, 2026. Moderators play a key role in shaping the discussion, introducing panelists, managing timing and facilitating meaningful audience engagement.

Moderators may express interest in leading panels within any of the following areas:
- Offtake Agreements
- Airline Partnerships
- Feedstocks
- Biological Conversion Pathways
- Thermochemical Conversion Pathways
- Bio-intermediates/Supply Chain
- Federal Policy/RFS pathway approval
- Distribution Infrastructure
- Test Flights/Commercial Readiness
- GHG Accounting
- SAF Production at Gen 1 Biofuels Facilities
Moderator Responsibilities
Moderators are responsible for ensuring sessions run smoothly, stay on schedule and remain engaging for the audience. Responsibilities include:
- Connecting with your panelists in advance to review presentation topics and discuss potential Q&A prompts.
- Arriving to your assigned room 15 minutes before the session begins to check in with AV staff and review the panel lineup.
- Introducing yourself, your panelists and their organizations before each presentation.
- Keeping presentations within their allotted time using the room’s electronic timer.
- Leading a brief, structured Q&A at the conclusion of the session.
Moderators are encouraged to maintain an energetic and professional tone while ensuring every speaker has an equal opportunity to present and respond to questions.

Moderator Selection Process
All moderator applications will be reviewed by the conference content team and steering committee by April 20th. Acceptance notifications will be sent by May 1st, and the preliminary conference agenda will be posted online the week of May 25th.
